KMA Cares

"We feel that our CPA at KMA Bodilly has our best interest in mind, and we get excellent advice."
I firmly believe that good housing attracts economic investment and development. It also contributes to a thriving school system. Research shows that when children have a safe and stable place to call home, they do better in school. I also enjoy being involved with Habitat for Humanity of Dane County because their program is not a hand out but a hand up for families. Habitat educates families and prepares them for homeownership. They work in partnership to improve our community.

- Jason Kadow, KMA Bodilly CPAs & Consultants, S.C. CEO, Chairman of the Board of Directors for Habitat for Humanity of Dane County.

KMA truly cares about giving back to the community and creating a positive environment for staff to actively participate with local charities. We have raised over $45,000 for Habitat for Humanity in the last 2 years. More than 100 golfers hit the links at Bishops Bay Country Club on Monday, Aug. 13 for the 2nd Annual KMA Cares Golf Tournament to support Habitat for Humanity of Dane County. KMA Bodilly CPAs & Consultants S.C. and all of the sponsors made the day an even bigger success than last year, with the money raised going toward providing stability and self-reliance through homeownership for people across Dane County.

Last year this event was able to raise over $25,000 to benefit Habitat for Humanity of Dane County. More than 100 golfers attended including former UW men’s basketball coach Bo Ryan, along with many other area business leaders.

Habitat for Humanity of Dane County provides safe, decent and affordable housing for families who might not otherwise become homeowners. Eligible families pay monthly mortgage payments on a 0% interest loan, and contribute between 325 to 375 hours of sweat equity in the building of their homes.

For the past 31 years more than 22,000 volunteers have offered a helping hand to more than 500 families on build sites and at our two Habitat ReStore locations. Together we’re helping families achieve strength, stability and independence to build a better life through an affordable mortgage.
