Senior Tax Manager (LIHTC) – Madison

We are looking for a Senior Tax Manager with a minimum of 5 years of experience within a public accounting firm. This position is primarily responsible for preparing complex tax returns related to LIHTC and managing a growing client base. We will provide you with ongoing career development and training. KMA, S.C. is a progressive, mid-sized Certified Public Accounting firm located on the West side of Madison, WI 53717, with two additional offices in Chicago, IL.

What you excel in

Prepare and review tax returns related to Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC)

Cost certifications for Section 42
HUD audit engagements
Partnership tax allocations
Tax-exempt bond deals
Support the partner team in identifying and planning the development of strategy, objectives, and budgets as needed
Interest in a career path to partner

You meet the following qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience at a public accounting firm in a tax-related position
Strong technical knowledge and expertise in LIHTC
CPA license
Strong organizational, writing, and verbal communication skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Maintain a positive working relationship with clients and coworkers
